This project and I 

argued quite a bit.

Gesso takes forever to dry, it turns out,

and likes to be on the grey-er side the first few cover-up coats.

The proportions are all still terrifically off, and I'm not exactly sure how or why.

Too big.

Too long.

Things like that.

Aggravating.

Didn't take this as far as it could have gone. Should have pushed it further.

It feels like

"just an assignment"

and there's nothing worse than that.
